3702625 - Error message KS134: Field change Activity unit not possible (transaction data exists) when changing the unit of measure of the activity type

A change to the unit of measure (UoM) for the activity type was attempted in the Manage Activity Type app, but error KS134 (‘Field change Activity unit not possible—transaction data exists’) was encountered. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• In the Manage Activity Type app, the unit of measure for the activity type is changed.
• A transactional data error is encountered (KS134: “Field change Activity unit not possible—transaction data exists”).

It is not allowed to change the activity type’s unit of measure if any plan or actual postings exist for that activity type (activity allocations, PP confirmations, plan quantities, planned prices, plan cost rate...).

1. It must be ensured that no actual or plan postings exist for the activity type.
2. In the Manage Cost Rates – Plan app, all entries associated with the activity type are deleted for the fiscal years.
3. Open an SAP support case under component CO-FIO-CCA-MD-2CL to request data correction and address the error.
