3702641 - Custom attributes are not available in the app Define Consolidation Unit

The custom attribute for Consolidation Unit is not available in the app "Define Consolidation Unit".

Attributes are not accessible for manual data entry in the Master Data app "Define Consolidation Unit".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create and activate a custom attribute in the app "Custom Fields".
2. Open the app "Define Consolidation Unit". The custom attribute does not appear.
3. Open the app "Group Data Analysis". The custom attribute is not available for breakdown.

Improper user handling of custom fields.

When you create a custom field and enable them for usage they are not automatically added to the applications frontend. 

You need to Adapt the UI and add them to the sections you want within those applications.

1. Ensure that the custom field is created and enabled for usage in the app "Custom Fields".
2. Assign the user to a business role created using the template "SAP_BR_EXTENSIBILITY_SPEC". This role includes the business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_FLX_CUS_PC", which is required for adapting the user interface.
3. Use the "Adapt UI" functionality to add the custom attribute to the relevant sections of the apps "Define Consolidation Unit" and "Group Data Analysis". Refer to the following documentation for detailed instructions:
