3702642 - Unable to Remove Time Entries Dated Too Far in the Future

Time entries were accidentally recorded for far-future dates (e.g., 2204) and cannot be displayed in the "Edit Time Sheet" view. Warning message appears: "Selected date period too far in the future."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Service Agents view.
3. Search for the required service agent and click Edit Time Sheet.
4. Select the a year in the far future (eg. 2204) and month.
5. Observe that no entries are displayed, and the system shows the warning: "Selected date period too far in the future."

Entering dates far into the future such as more than 100 years ahead is neither relevant nor necessary for the system’s intended use. Because of this, the system restricts the direct display of such future time entries in the Edit Time Sheet view.

1. Navigate to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Service Agents view.
3. Open the Edit Time Sheet view for the specific service agent.
4. Use the calendar navigation to move forward incrementally, approximately 10 years at a time.
5. Continue this navigation until you reach the desired year (for example, 2204).
6. Once the calendar is set to the target year, the previously hidden time entries will become visible.
7. Select and delete any incorrect or unwanted time entries as needed.

Note: Attempting to jump directly to a distant future year (such as 2204) in one step will not display the entries. Incremental navigation through the calendar is necessary to access and manage these records.
