3702827 - Rehire verification does not trigger for user matching previously cancelled onboarding 1.0 process - Onboarding

The rehire verification does not trigger for a candidate in Onboarding 2.0 event if their details match those of a candidate for whom Onboarding 1.0 was previously canceled.

1. Initiate onboarding 1.0 for a candidate
2. Cancel onboarding 1.0 before user is hired
3. Initiate onboarding 2.0 for a candidate with matching details
4. Rehire verification does not trigger

Expected behavior.

• The implementation guide Canceling an Onboarding Process refers only to processes cancelled in Onboarding 2.0:
  If onboarding is reinitiated for an external user after the onboarding process is cancelled, the new hire details will appear during rehire selection. In such cases, you can rehire with new employment to avoid duplicate person records.
• The rehire verification checks for the user details of the onboarding process and check its status: Cancelled. These details are not available in Manage Data > Process for users cancelled during Onboarding 1.0.
