3702911 - "Sorry, a technical error occurred" using Adapt UI in Post Outgoing/Incoming Payments apps - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Using Adapt UI in Post Outgoing Payments/Post Incoming Payments apps.
• Unable to add a group/field and move the added group/field to a different position in the UI.
• Error message: "Sorry, a technical error occurred. Please try again later, or contact your administrator. Reason: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map') at t.getContainerElementIds."
• The error occurs during the process of saving or activating the UI adaptation.
• Affected applications:
  • Post Outgoing Payments (F1612) | SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library
  • Post Incoming Payments (F1345) | SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508

1. Open the Post Outgoing Payments app.
2. Click on the Adapt UI option.
3. Right-click and select "Create: Group" to create a new group.
4. Inside the created group, click "Add: Field".
5. Search for the field "Item Text (Payment)" and add it to the group.
6. Rearrange the group to place it underneath the General Information section.
7. Click on save.
8. Observe the error message.

A fix is in progress. The release date will be updated once it is known.

Workaround:

Use the URL parameter "sap-ui-xx-condense-changes=false" to avoid errors when saving or activating adaptations.
