3703006 - Candidate is not anonymized after revoking their DPCS - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Candidate profiles are not anonymized after declining the Data Privacy Consent Statement (DPCS).
  • Candidates remain in the "New Application" status even after declining the DPCS.
  • Recruiters are able to proceed with candidates despite the declined DPCS status.
  • CDC feature is enabled

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the external career site.
  2. Create an account and apply for any job.
  3. Accept the Data Privacy Consent Statement (DPCS) during the application process.
  4. Log in to the candidate account and decline the DPCS via the "Manage Account" section.
  5. Observe that the candidate profile is disconnected but not deleted or anonymized.
  6. Check the talent pipeline status; the candidate remains in "New Application" status.
  7. Verify that recruiters can proceed with the candidate despite the declined DPCS.

Cause

The issue is related to the CX Apply Page functionality not properly handling candidate anonymization after the DPCS is declined.

Resolution

A fix is currently being tested by Engineering
Deployement will be made by the next release :
