3703121 - Error displayed in bar chart after changing input control filter value

Symptom

  • Bar chart displays the error message: "An error is preventing the chart from being displayed. Contact your administrator with the details." after changing the input control filter value.
  • Error in console log: "[ERROR] Unable to render Bar/Column chart because Series data not available or invalid."

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the issue story.
  2. Change the input control filter value.
  3. Check the bar chart, it is showing error "An error is preventing the chart from being displayed. Contact your administrator with the details."
  4. The error will disappear as soon as the data is loaded.
  5. The issue doesn't happen in Edit mode.
