3703124 - Enterprise Project Release Rejected but a Demand Can Still Be Created in the Manage Project Demand App (SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition)

Symptom

An Enterprise project is created and the the processing status is Created, and the approval status is Release Rejected, yet a project demand can be created successfully.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Manage Project Demand.
  2. Create a material demand for a project that has been rejected for release.

Cause

The WBS Element being used for the demand is in the status Created / Released.

Resolution

  1. Create a Demand: "You can only create demands for WBS elements with the status Created or Released.".
  2. As long as the WBS Element being used is in the status created or released then a demand can be created for it.
