Manager approval workflow of accepting an assignment offer is stalled after manager is terminated.

SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace

1. Configure "Manager Approval" workflow for the scenario "Accept an offer" for a specific assignment type, for example "Fellowship".
2. Create an opportunity project of the type "Fellowship".
3. An employee applies for the project and receives the offer.
4. The employee's manager receives the approval request.
5. The manager user is terminated before approving the offer.
6. The workflow is stalled.

Approve the request before terminating the manager user.

Note

To avoid the issue, when setting up the opportunity assignments, configure Advanced Approval Workflow for the scenario "Accept an offer". As advanced approval workflow utilizes EC workflow framework, even if approver is terminated, you can proceed the approval process using the admin tool "Manage Workflow Request".
