3703435 - Unable to preview assessments due to missing permissions in admin role

Symptom

  • Unable to preview assessments in the preview assessments section.
  • Error message: "You do not have permission to perform this action."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login as the user with the impacted role.
  2. Navigate to Learning Administrator.
  3. Search for the Assessment
  4. Open the assessment and click on the Preview button.
  5. Observe the error message: "You do not have permission to perform this action."

Cause

  • Admin role is missing View Quiz permission.

Resolution

  1. Add the 'View Quiz' permission to the affected admin role.
  2. Verify that the impacted user can preview assessments successfully after the permission is added.
