3703510 - Error code 503 displayed on income tax declaration card in latest people profile

• Income tax declaration card under the Job Data category in the Latest People Profile is not visible and displays the error message: "Looks like something went wrong. Please try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator. Error Code: 503."
• Clicking the '?' button shows the error: "Tax Regime configuration is missing in the Declaration Type."

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 

1. Navigate to the employee profile.
2. Access the Job Data category in the Latest People Profile
3. In the Standard Income Tax Declaration card observe the error message: "Looks like something went wrong. Please try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator. Error Code: 503."
4. Click the '?' button and observe the error: "Tax Regime configuration is missing in the Declaration Type."

The error code 503 occurs because the Tax Regime configuration is missing in the Declaration Type.

Follow the steps outlined in the SAP Help Portal guide titled "Creating a Tax Regime Declaration Type

1. Navigate to Manage Data 
2. In the "Create New" field search Declaration type 
3. In the Code field, enter TAX_REG
4. In the Declaration Name field, enter Tax Regime
5. Click Save

After that the error should no longer show when checking Income Tax Declaration
