"Material Sales General" data source does not contain the 'status' field

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Select Design Data Source view.
  3. Search for "Material Sales General".
  4. Select Preview
  5. In Selection tab, observe that the 'Status' Filter is missing.

Cause

Current system behavior does not include the 'status' field in the "Material Sales General" data source.

Resolution

Create a custom extension field to include the required Status Filter in the report. 

If this capability is required as a standard feature, submit an enhancement request on the SAP Customer Influence portal, where it can be reviewed and voted on by other customers for potential future inclusion: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/886
