3703519 - 'Material cannot be produced in-house' error CO046

When creating a Production Order, the following error message appears:
"Material xy cannot be produced in-house"
(Message no. CO046)

Also, the 'Procurement Type' field in the Material Master (MRP2 view) is not editable.

1. Create Production Order app

2. Encounter the error message: "Material xy cannot be produced in-house".

3. Verify the Material Master (MRP2 view) and observe that the 'Procurement Type' field is not editable.

The material type of the material does not allow in-house production.

In SSCUI 103539 – ‘Define Attributes of Material Types’ search for the relevant for Material type, and for field 'Int. purchase orders' select the appropriate option based on business requirements:

• '1' - Internal purchase orders allowed, but warning issued
• '2' - Internal purchase orders allowed

Use
Allows internal purchase orders, that is, in-house production of the material.
