3703537 - Onboarding Process Not Visible After Successful Initiation from Recruiting - Onboarding

Symptom

New Hire Data Review task has been skipped for new hire.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to onboarding dashboard
  2. Search for affected user
  3. See the New Hire Data Review task is not present in the dashboard, while it should be there based on the assigned process variant.

Cause

Wrong configuration of the rule SAP_ONB2_HMReviewCheck.

The logic in the rule is set as "on or before 01/01/1900 ", while it should be "on or after 01/01/1900". The faulty configuration skips New Hire Data Review for all of the candidates, since all of them were added after 01/01/1900.

Resolution

Set the rule to "on or after 01/01/1900", then restart the onboarding to trigger the New Hire Data Review Step
