3703609 - Keyboard shortcut F2 does not work to confirm a pop-up in webgui

Symptom

  • The keyboard shortcut F2 does not work for selecting a variants in WEBGUI/Fiori.
  • After selecting a row in a pop-up with Gridview control, pressing F2 does not confirm the selection (unresponsive).
  • The same F2 shortcut works as expected in SAP GUI for Windows.

     

  • The following errors appears in the browser console logs while trying to use the F2 shortcut in the above scenario:
