Symptom
The Referrer Email configured in the Application Status Configuration is being sent to employees who are marked as inactive in the SuccessFactors system.

Reproducing the Issue
- Move a candidate to an application status that triggers a Referral Email.
- The email is sent to the referrer even though the employee profile status is inactive.
Resolution
The Product Management team has confirmed that this is a known limitation. The feature does not evaluate the employee profile status when triggering the Referral Email.
If the employee profile has been purged, the email cannot be delivered to the referrer. However, if the email template includes an active user in the CC or BCC fields, that CC or BCC recipient will still receive the email. In this case, the To field will remain empty.
