3703757 - Unable to Save New Reporting Entity in Configuration Activity 101071

An error occurs when attempting to save the Reporting Entity Code while creating a new Reporting Entity in the Statutory Reporting configuration. The code is saved as blank regardless of whether an existing Reporting Entity is copied or a new entry is created.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the configuration activity ID 101071.
2. Click on "Copy As" the desired Rep Entity or click on "New Entries" button.
3. Rename the new entry over 10 digits.
4. Save the new entry.
5. Observe that the new name no longer appears, and the contents in the "Rep Entity" cell are deleted automatically.

The Statutory Reporting Entity Code is limited to 10 digits. The desired new entry exceeds this limitation, causing the system to automatically delete the contents in the "Rep Entity" cell upon saving.

Create a new Statutory Reporting Entity Code within the 10-digit limit to resolve the issue.
