Symptom

  • System copy using SWPM fails during the define parameters step with the error: "An error occurred while processing option SAP Business Suite 7i 2013 Support Release 2 > EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 ABAP Support Release 2 > MaxDB > System Copy > Source System > Based on AS ABAP > Database Instance Export (Last error reported by the step: Assertion failed: SdbOperations.getSAPReleaseFromDB(): sqlcli returned an unexpected number of lines. Expected at least 4 but was 2)."
  • Logs indicate the error: "* -4008: POS(1) Unknown user name/password combination SQLSTATE: 28000".
