Symptom

  • SAP HANA database does not reach RUNNING state
  • One or more hosts remain in YELLOW / Initializing
  • NameServer is reported as not responding (for example <host>:<port>)
  • Landscape configuration is shown as offline
  • System Replication status cannot be determined
  • Takeover / failover is not triggered or appears to be blocked
  • Customers assume an HA or System Replication failure
