3704041 - Central Posting Delivery cannot be deleted due to warehouse processing status in SAP s/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • Central Posting Delivery documents cannot be deleted.
  • Delivery can no longer be changed due to the warehouse processing status.
  • Error message: "Delivery can no longer be changed due to the warehouse processing status" (Message No. /SPE/VL018).

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Central Posting Delivery.
  2. Attempt to delete delivery document.
  3. Observe that deletion is not possible.

Cause

The Central Posting Delivery is related to a Posting Change in the EWM side, which blocks deletion due to the warehouse processing status.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Warehouse Monitor App.
  2. Select "Documents - Posting Change".
  3. Open the Posting Change Item associated with the delivery.
  4. Click the "Adjust" button to zero out the posting change.
  5. Verify that the delivery status is marked as completed in both the Central Posting Delivery and EWM side.
