3704119 - serial number handling in transfer order process in warehouse management

Symptom

  • In SAP Warehouse Management (WM), the system does not provide an option to select or capture serial numbers at the Transfer Order (TO) item level when confirming a TO created for an outbound delivery via SAP transaction LT12.
  • Serial number entry/update is only available in the outbound delivery, which prevents the TO from serving its intended purpose for this process.
