3704144 - Is it possible to use HTML tags in Field Labels in Job Requisition? - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When using HTML-formatted text in the field labels within the job requisition template, HTML tags and hyperlinks are not rendered correctly in the system.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure field labels with the correct HTML tags within the CDATA content. 
  2. Create a job requisition and observed that the HTML-formatted field labels appear as plain text.

Cause

Mime-type attribute is not configured in the field label in Job Requisition template

Resolution

Mime-type determines whether or not the system renders html tags defined in the CDATA content. The two supported mime types are as follows:

  • text-plain: Unformatted plain text.

  • text-html: HTML-formatted text.
