3704185 - Unable to view customer classification segment in message monitoring for integration experts in payload

Symptom

The customer wants to send customer classification data from the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system to the SAP Sales Cloud, version 2, system. However, in the Message Monitoring for Integration Experts app, they cannot find any payload segment for customer classification.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to send data of customer classification from cloud system to sales cloud version 2 system.
  2. Check Message Monitoring for Integration Experts in payload.
  3. Observe that no segment for customer classification is visible.

Resolution

An HTTP 500 error (An internal error occurred. For error details, please check MPL ID xxxxxxxx) appears in the logs, which is often caused by configuration issues in the target system. Please check the target system for any recent changes and review whether they might be causing the error. You might also consider creating a new communication arrangement (SAP_COM_0008) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud to test whether it resolves the issue.
