3704396 - Error message : 'No recipient assigned'

Symptom

When accessing the 'Message Monitoring Overview' app, the system displays the error message 'No recipient assigned (/ALF/MES/223)'. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'Message Monitoring Overview' app.
  2. Search for the logs.
  3. Observe the Error message 'No recipient assigned'.

Cause

The recipient is not configured. As a result, the app cannot display the interfaces monitored by the AIF software. 

Resolution

Assign the user to a recipient list as below using the 'Assign Recipients to Users' app.

  1. Open the 'Assign Recipients to Users' app.
  2. Choose the + (Add User) button.
  3. Enter the user ID.
  4. Choose Add.
  5. On the Recipients for User screen, choose Assign Recipient.
  6. Save the changes.
