Symptom

  • Error message: "get_pse: Can't create PSE."
  • Warning message: "C:\Program Files\sap\hdbclient\sapcli.pse does not exist! Please run: 'C:\Program Files\sap\hdbclient\' gen_pse -p 'C:\Program Files\sap\hdbclient\sapcli.pse' to create a CommonCryptoLib client encryption keystore."
  • Issue occurs when attempting to generate the sapcli.pse file using the SAP HANA client.
