Symptom

  • Approval Details in Purchase Requisition document shows Last Action e.g. '8 minutes ago'.
  • Inquiry about what the system will display if the document was approved a year ago.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Purchase Requisition (PR).
  2. Approve the PR.
  3. Navigate to the PR Approval Details and observe the field 'Last Action' displaying e.g. 'Last Action - 8 minutes ago'.

Cause

Resolution

In the Purchase Requisition Approval details, the field “Last Action” always displays a relative time, not a fixed date. This behavior is by design in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The field does not change to an absolute date format. If an exact approval date/time is required, it can be viewed in the workflow log, My Inbox history, or PR change log.
