Symptom

  • Specific users get a blank screen after login to BILP (BI Launchpad)
  • The issue persists across different browsers and incognito/in private modes. 
  • The same user was able to login in CMC (Central Management Console)
  • Below error appears in console traces:
    • BILaunchpadView.view.js?eval:7 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getSubSections')
          at com.sap.fioribi.app.BILaunchpadView.pagePreference (BILaunchpadView.view.js?eval:7:3505)
