Symptom
- Data Access Control in Seamless Planning model cannot work as expected
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.21.11
Reproducing the Issue
- Log onto SAC via an Admin user
- Create a seamless planning model with data stored in Datasphere
- Open the dimension table
- Enable the Data Access Control for this dimension
- Grant another user User A read access to at least one of the dimension members
- Log onto SAC with User A who just have limited access to the model dimension member
- Open the seamless planning model
=> Observe that the message "It looks like you model doesn't contain any data" would appear
Cause
The issue is caused by a defect in the product.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed in SAC 2026 QRC1 update with version 2026.2.
