Symptom

Error message which appears several times in the /usr/sap/SMD/SMDA<xx>/work/jvm_smdagent.out of all Diagnostic Agents in SAP System landscape:

  • An error occurs after changing and activating the parameter `introscope.agent.enterprisemanager.transport.tcp.socketfactory.DEFAULT` to the value `com.wily.isengard.postofficehub.link.net.server.SSLServerSocketFactory`.
  • The Agent connection via SSL to the Introscope fails.
  • Frequent false alerts occur, indicating that the Java System/Instance is not available, even when the system is operational.
  • Error message: "Failed to connect to the Introscope Enterprise Manager at localhost:5001, com.wily.isengard.postofficehub.link.net.DefaultSocketFactory (java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused))."
