3706016 - Inconsistent behavior of OK and CANCEL buttons in EMOS warning popup in Legacy form experience

When clicking the “OK” button on the EMOS warning pop-up while sending the form to the next step, the overall rating is not updated. Instead, the page remains in a loading state and the same warning pop-up appears repeatedly.

This behavior occurs only in the Legacy Form Experience and does not occur in the Latest Form Experience.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Open a performance form where EMOS is configured to trigger based on a rating field (e.g., behavior or overall assessment rating).
2. Set the EMOS-triggering rating field to a value that meets the warning condition (e.g., a low rating). Simultaneously, set the overall form rating to a value exceeding the allowed threshold defined by the EMOS configuration.
3. Attempt to route the form to the next step. Observe that an EMOS warning popup is displayed.
4. Click "OK" on the warning popup. The page continues loading, and the same warning popup reappears repeatedly.
5. Click "Cancel" on the warning popup. The ratings remain unchanged and reflect the user-entered values.
6. Save the form. The warning popup appears again. Clicking either "OK" or "Cancel" closes the popup, and the overall rating is automatically adjusted to the allowed value.

This is a Known Issue.

This issue will be corrected in b2605 (1H 2026 release) with the following rollout schedule:

• Preview: April 13

• Production: May 15–16

In the meantime, please use the workaround outlined below.

1. Manually update the summary rating on the form, save the changes, and then re-trigger the Send action.

2. Disable “Enabled New Confirmation Experience for sending forms” on the Form Template Settings page.

3. Enable Latest Form Experience via the Performance Management Feature Settings page.
