3706113 - Accept Match Button not available for rehire on new employment for Contingent Worker

During the rehire of an inactive Contingent worker on new employment via the Add Contingent Worker page, the Accept Match button is not displayed when only the Rehire on New Employment (by Match) permission is enabled, and only Ignore Matches is available.

SAP Successfactors Employee Central

Prerequisites:

• Concurrent employment for contingent workers: Enabled
• Permission granted:  rehire on new employment(by match)
• Permission NOT granted: rehire inactive employee(by match)

Steps:

1. Navigate to Add Contingent Worker page
2. Enter details that match an inactive CWK user
3. Match popup displays only "Ignore Matches" button
4. "Accept Match" button does not appear

Currently, system is validating the permission "Rehire inactive employee(by match)" under manage hires/recruits even though "Rehire on new employment(by match)" permission granted.

• The Engineering team has created a code correction request for this issue after identifying it as a defect and is currently investigating it.
• The code correction will ensure that the backend validates only the Rehire on new employment(by match) permission.Users will be able to rehire a contingent worker on new employment with only the New Employment permission granted.
• Please bookmark this KBA and monitor it for future updates.

Workaround:

Please grant permission "Rehire inactive employee(by match)" under manage hires/recruits for the accept match button to appear till the issue is fixed.
