3706137 - Accessibility Limitation with Download Documents feature in the latest applicant workbench - Recruiting Management

• Download Documents feature in the latest applicant workbench is converting documents into PDF image format instead of PDF text format, making them unreadable for screen reader software.
• The issue violates WCAG 2.1 sub-criteria 1.1.1, which requires all non-text content to have a text alternative.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Log into System>>Navigate to Recruiting>>open any Job Requisition>>Navigate to Candidates TAB.
2. In the latest applicant workbench>>Select Multiple candidate -> Download Documents -> Select required information you required -> Click on Download ->You will have two options to download. 
   • Single PDF - All candidates information's gets downloaded under one PDF
   • One PDF per applicant, zipped into a single file - A single Zip file gets downloaded inside the zip file one PDF per candidate will be present.
3. Results - Downloaded documents are in PDF image format instead of PDF text format and this is causing accessibility issues as the screen readers software is unable to detect/read these texts 

As per the Engineering team, this is currently not possible to fix with existing libraries and the complexities involved. So this is considered as accessibility limitation.
