The error "no se han efectuado modificaiones" is displayed when performing a query in the Get Tax Authority Invoice Number Ranges (Colombia) App.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to the Get Tax Authority Invoice Number Ranges (Colombia) App.
2. Enter the Company Code ABC (where ABC represents the Company Code ID).
3. Enter the Software ID Key related to the Company Code ABC.
4. Mark the option Get Ranges from DIAN.
5. Select Run.

The error "no se han efectuado modificaiones" is displayed.

The error "no se han efectuado modificaiones" occur when there are overlaps in the Number Range for the Colombian eDocuments.

The Number Range for the Colombian eDocuments are a mandatory requirement according to Colombia Tax Authority (DIAN). However the pattern or sequence for the number range of each Document type is currently not indicated as a Legal Requirement, but a particular Business Requirement.

According to the current S/4HANA standard system behavior, in case a single number range is not suitable to be maintained for all Document types, then each Number Range created for each Document Type must be unique. This occurs in order to ensure consistency and avoid logical conflicts within the system design.

Currently different document types with the same number ranges are not supported in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

As a possible solution, different number ranges can be used for different document types without any overlap.

For example: (the values are only used for exemplification)

• Electronic Invoices -> Number Range from 0 to 50
• Credit Notes -> Number Range from 51 to 100
• Debit Notes -> Number Range from 101 to 200
• Support Documents -> Number Range from 201 to 300
