3706230 - Error Message Not Visible for Non‑Admin Users During Sales Order Replication

Symptom

When replicating a Sales Quote from SAP Sales/Service Cloud to SAP S/4HANA as a Sales Order, an error occurs during the replication process.

  • Admin users can see the error message at the top of the Sales Quote.
  • Non‑admin users do not see any error message, although the replication fails.
  • The error message returned from SAP S/4HANA is not visible for non‑admin user roles.

Example Error Message (from S/4HANA):  “External sales order creation is interrupted. Item 000100 condition XYZ: Unit of measurement AB is not valid.”
