3706747 - When will I receive an email notification that my catalog import is stuck on a Validation Error?

I am an administrator in SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing. I want to understand when the system sends an email notification for a catalog import that fails with a Validation Error status.

When the catalog import fails, I receive the following notification:

Subject: Catalog Import Failed

Import of gbdata[...] from [Unspecified] did not complete.

Import stopped in state Validation Error with 1 errors.
