3706882 - How to globally disable the notification on the classic experience going away in SAP Analytics Cloud?

Symptom

  • When user login to SAP Analytics Cloud, it displays the notification that "Classic Experience Is Going Away"
  • How to globally disable having this message showing every time when users login to SAP Analytics Cloud?

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.1

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
       
  2. A notification displays the following message: 
      
    Transition to Optimized Experience
    Classic Experience Is Going Away

    The Classic Experience will be deprecated at the end of Q2 2026 
    After this date, classic assets will no longer be accessible.
    - Classic Stories
    - Analytic Applications
    - Classic Data Analyzer insights

    Please migrate to the Optimized Experience before the deadline to ensure uninterrupted access.
       

Resolution

  • There is no global option to remove the notification.
  • Note that the notification will only display for content creator, and not for content viewer.
  • For the notification to stop displaying, each content creator must acknowledge the notification by checking the box that states:
    "I acknowledge this message and understand that the Classic Experience will be deprecated at the end of Q2 2026"
