• An error was reported during an attempt to reverse actual settlements for specific WBS elements via the "Schedule Overhead Accounting" app using the "Actual Settlement: Projects (SAP)" template.
• The error message "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component CO-OM-OPA." was displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Navigate to the "Schedule Overhead Accounting" app.  
• Select the template "Actual Settlement: Projects (SAP)."  
• The parameter should be entered, and the job should be executed

• Unfortunately, the actual error can only be verified in the backend system.
• A possible error message is: "Enter posting date in period XX."
• The error is caused by a conflict between the posting date and the posting period in the parameters when the job is scheduled.

Example:

Parameters:

• Posting Period: 010 (the last date of period 10.2025 is 30.11.2025)
• Fiscal Year: 2025
• Posting Date: 31.12.2025

In this case, the posting date 31.12.2025 is not considered valid for period 010.2025, and an error is issued.

• First, the Posting Period, Fiscal Year, and Posting Date should be checked, and the data should be confirmed as correct.
• The last day of the period can be checked through the SSCUI "Maintain Fiscal Year Variants."
• Alternatively, settlement jobs can be scheduled without specifying a posting date; the posting date will be automatically derived as the last day of the posting period.
