3707251 - PY-NL: Validation error for dutch citizen number (BSN) starting with 8 or 9 in productive systems

Symptom

  • The CHECK_BSN_FORMAT method in class CL_HR_NL_BSN_MANAGER throws an exception when a Dutch Citizen Number (BSN) starts with the digits 8 or 9.
  • The error message displayed is: "The first digit of the CSN (BSN) may not be 8 nor 9."
  • This issue occurs exclusively in productive systems.
