3707406 - After QRC1 2026, tables now use the Quick Builder Panel instead of the Navigation Panel.

Symptom

After QRC1 2026 (2026.02) is applied to your tenant, the builder panel for your tables has been replaced with the Quick Builder Panel.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.02

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open story
  2. Click on table to see the builder panel

Cause

The change to use the new quick builder panel is by design and is supposed to apply by default to all tables.  However, certain features are not compatible with the new builder panel and so will not be switched by default (e.g. Blended tables)

Resolution

If you want to turn off the new builder panel, you can de-select the option "Enable Quick Builder" under Table Properties in the Builder Panel
