3707519 - Unable to create new business partner relationship categories in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

• The issue pertains to the relationship categories in the business partner record within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• There are 108 existing relationship categories, but the client requires 7 specific categories, of which only 4 have been identified/mapped. The remaining 3 categories are not found in the existing list.
• The client seeks clarification on whether the relationship categories can be edited or additional records created, and what configuration would be required for this.
• The identified relationship categories are: Manufacturing - BUR104, Warehouse - BUR105, Remit - BUR102, RFQ, Purchase Order - BUR101, and Quality.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a business partner record in the Maintain Business Partner.
2. Try to add relationship category BUR104, Manufacturing Site, for another business partner under the relationship tab.
3. Attempt to create additional relationship categories identified as necessary, but these categories are not part of the 108 existing relationship categories.

The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition does not support the creation of new Business Partner relationship categories, and SSCUI configuration is not available for this functionality.

It is not possible to create new Business Partner relationship categories in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, due to a limitation in the current standard functionality. Please raise a feature request for this master data limitation and refer to KBA 2963059: How to Submit Feature Requests for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud product.
