3707540 - Error "value is not a valid date in accord with the XML format for ABAP" during business partner replication from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to Sales Cloud

Symptom

During Business Partner replication from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to Sales Cloud v2 (or other external systems) using standard replication mechanisms (e.g. SAP_COM_008, Replicate by Replication Model), the replication fails with the following error:"Value is not a valid date in accord with the XML format for ABAP".
