3708020 - Submit button disabled for custom task with attachment in onboarding module

• The submit button remains disabled when attempting to complete a custom task with an attachment in the Onboarding module.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log in as the user.
2. Navigate to "Your Onboarding Checklist".
3. Select a custom task.
4. Attach a file to the task.
5. Observe that the submit button remains disabled and cannot be clicked.

• The External Code field should not be configured as a mandatory field in the Task object.
• The visibility of the External Code field in the Task object should be set to Not Visible or Read Only.
• The Required property for the External Code field must be set to No, as configuring this field as Yes is not supported.

• Navigate to Admin Center → Configure Object Definitions.
• Search for the custom object related to the custom task.
• Select Take Action → Make Correction.
• Click on Details for externalCode.
• Set the Required property to No.
• Save the changes.
