Symptom

  • The "Manage Pending Hires" functionality is not available as a step or activity within the Onboarding Dashboard.
  • The "Manage Pending Hires" tool is handled on a separate, dedicated page outside the Onboarding Dashboard.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance.
  2. Navigate to the Onboarding Dashboard.
  3. Attempt to locate the "Manage Pending Hires" step or activity within the dashboard.

Cause

  • Expected behavior: "Manage Pending Hires" is designed as a separate, dedicated page and cannot be added as a step or activity within the Onboarding Dashboard.

Resolution

  1. Utilize the "Manage Pending Hires" tool on its dedicated page outside the Onboarding Dashboard.
  2. Configure the available activities within the Onboarding Dashboard using the Process Variant Manager. Supported activities include:

a. Review New Hire Data

b. Personal Data Collection

c. Additional Onboarding Data Collection

d. Document Flow

e. Compliance Forms

f. Primary New Hire Tasks

g. Secondary New Hire Tasks

h. Final Review

  1. To request the inclusion of "Manage Pending Hires" as a step in the Onboarding Dashboard, submit an influence request through [SAP Influence Portal](https://influence.sap.com/go/cis).
