3708052 - E-verify tasks and case details missing in dashboard

Symptom

  • E-Verify tasks and E-Verify case details are missing in the onboarding dashboard.
  • The issue occurs after completing the E-Verify process and performing a photo match.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the onboarding dashboard.
  2. Search for the affected users.
  3. Observe that E-Verify tasks and case details are missing.

Cause

Expected Behaviour

Resolution

  1. For rehire employees with an existing E-Verify case within the last three years, E-Verify is not expected to trigger, as the previous E-Verify record can still be reused.
  2. In cases where the compliance process was cancelled and later restarted, the E-Verify case details are linked to the original onboarding process, which was cancelled. Due to a known limitation, the details of cancelled onboarding processes are not displayed in the user interface.
  3. In such cases, you can retrieve the E-Verify case details directly from DHS by raising a ticket with support for assistance.
  4. Alternatively, check the E-Verify case details within the system by navigating to Manage Data >> E-Verify Data and entering the user's ID.
