Symptom

How to change the gain/loss calculation method for Mutual Funds (or other securities) from the Average Price method to the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

To enable FIFO calculation, following bellow to configure Single Position Management:

  1. Navigate to SSCUI Define and Assign Differentiations (ID:102353).
  2. Select the relevant differentiation.
  3. Ensure that the flag for Single Position Management is checked.
