Symptom
- In SAC Story scripting, the API setCurrentDateTime works as expected when applied to a model with a system-managed date dimension.
- The API does not behave consistently when applied to a model with a user-managed date dimension.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the SAC Story.
- Apply the .setCurrentDateTime API to a model with a user-managed date dimension.
- Observe this does not work.
Cause
The setCurrentDateTime API does not support user-managed date dimensions.
Resolution
Currently this is not supported in SAC, to submit an improvement request, please see: 2424376 How do you create an enhancement request and provide feedback for SAP Analytics Cloud?
