3708198 - Sales Quote Approval Process Not Triggering Correctly

The sales quote approval process is not triggering correctly.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales Work Center.
2. Navigate to the Sales Quote Work Center View.
3. Open Sales Quote XYZ (XYZ refers to the sales quote ID)
4. Add Products in the products facet.
5. Request the external pricing.
6. In the products facet, add a discount - Total discount %.
7. Submit the quote for approval.
8. Observe that no approval processes are triggered.

• Incomplete or incorrect configuration of External Pricing.
• In the Fine-Tune activity, "Assignments of External Price Elements," the required discount (pricing elements) is not maintained. This results in the corresponding pricing values not being transferred/passed to the system, causing inconsistencies in pricing determination for the products in the sales quote. 

1. Navigate to Fine-Tune Activity.
2. Assignments of External Price Elements.
3. Verify that all required pricing procedures and elements are maintained. 
4. If gaps are identified, update the configuration by maintaining
   • The correct pricing procedure.
   • Relevant condition types and calculation steps are properly included
5. Confirm that the system passes and determines the pricing values correctly.
