3708267 - Error "no data set found; check the file format" when uploading Exchange Rates file

Symptom

  • An error occurs when attempting to upload an Exchange Rates file into SAP C4C
  • The error message displayed is: "No data set found; check the file format."

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator Work Center
  2. Open the Common Task View
  3. Click on Exchange Rate For Foreign Currencies
  4. Click on Import > From Microsoft Excel
  5. Select the file and click on Saved

Cause

The issue is caused by the file format not adhering to the required structure for successful upload.

Resolution

Save the file and ensure that the file was save as XML format and attempt the upload again.
