3708279 - Unable to generate purchase requisition with custom document type other than NB from maintenance order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • The system does not allow generating a custom purchase requisition document type from a maintenance order.
  • Only the standard purchase requisition document type (NB) is used for generated purchase requisition.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a maintenance order.
  2. Navigate to the Material/Services tab and add a material/service.
  3. Release and save the maintenance order.
  4. Observe that the system generates purchase requisition with standard document type (NB), and the custom purchase requisition document type is not available for selection.

Cause

Missing functionality.

Resolution
