3708300 - Known Issues and Common Topics on and around Analytic Model

1. In case of errors the Data Preview is not showing the expected error. No messages anymore, but just an empty preview without any further information. Refer to KBA 3643996 
2. When previewing Analytic Models with variables, the preview will prompt for variables to be filled. If the variable dialog is canceled, the screen will be empty and preview is unresponsive. Refer to KBA 3643996 
3. In case a compound key is added or changed in a dimension which is already used in an analytic model, wrong data could be displayed.

• Analytic Models are not accessible via ODBC connection. Refer to KBA 3674874
• DAC on Dimensions with time dependency: Not supported
• Value help is not showing text association if we have a compound key on an attribute. If text association is necessary, include a dimension with text association. Refer to KBA 3446595 
• Analytic model filter variable default values does not consider empty value. Refer to SAP Note 3686611 
• Compound key column(s) must be defined either in Dimensions or in Filter in order to make a consistent. Refer to KBA 3426430

   • The analytic model needs to be reloaded

   • Workaround: Remove the dimension from the analytic model and add it again
